Makita have had for many years a reputation for designing and building the best mitre saws in the world with the LS1013 10" Slide Mitre Saw being "the" site mitre saw for professionals for many years.

New to the range and featuring Makita's DXT technology are the LS1016 260mm Slide Mitre Saw and the LS1216 305mm Slide Mitre Saw, both machines feature 4 short steel telescopic poles which make the slide action more rigid, more accurate and less vibration. The upper and lower sections of the fence operate independently and a 3 stage reduction gear unit along with moveable rear blade guard allow for larger cutting capacities.
