Makita Angle Drills

Angle drills are generally used in confined situations where the use of a normal sized drill would not be possible such as drilling with wood augers between joist before threading electrical cables or in electrical panels for drilling with HSS drill bits or holesaws.

The chuck is designed at right angles to the main body allowing a much smaller "throat" to access tight spots.

The smaller DA3010 Angle Drill has the smallest "throat" but is the least powerful and not recommended for wood auger drilling while the DA4000LR Angle Drill has plenty of low speed torque and ideal for timber drilling.
