This single speed slide compound mitre saw is as good today as it was when it was first introduced all those years ago, one of the first mitre saws to feature a sliding action and a head that would angle both ways, this machine can boast a depth of cut at 90° of 91mm due to the motor housing being angled and a cross cut of 300mm. The table on this saw can turn both left and right and has a mitre range of 52° - 47° and has pre-set angle stops of the most popular angles. Located on either side of the table is 2 extension bars that help when cutting those longer lengths of wood and the left hand side of the fence can also be folded back to extend the rear fence, to the left of the motor housing is a depth stop which will enable you to cut accurate tenons and trench cuts. The switch on this machine requires 2 actions, the first is to push the button found on the top of the handle and then secondly to pull the main switch in, the button on the top off the machine is also a safety feature that once removed the machine will not be able to start. Supplied with a dust bag, greater extraction can be achieved when coupled to a vacuum or extraction unit.
