New from Makita the JV0600K is a fantastic fully professional jigsaw packed with features that will save time and give excellent results. It's mid "D" shaped handle has a rubberised grip that provides perfect balance for effortless sawing and weighing just 2.4kg it can be used for prolonged periods. Makita's tool-less blade change is fitted as standard meaning that blades can be changed in seconds with a quick twist of the bayonet holder with just your finger and thumb. The unit features a powerful 650w motor that can easily cope with timber up to 90mm and steel up to 10mm, a variable speed dial located on the rear of the jigsaw allows the user to select between 500-3100 strokes per minute for precision ofr fast cutting. Orbital action has 4 setting from "0" for non orbital to "4" for agressive orbital action. Orbital action allows the blade move back and forwards at the same time as up and down which when turned on will give a faster but less clean cut, with orbital action set to "0" the cleanest cut will be achieved but also the slowest, this setting is always used for tight, curved cuts and when steel cutting. With orbital action set to "4" the fastest cut will be achieved but the finish will not be so clean and splintering will occur.

The JV0600K has a solid, die cast base that will not bend and features a swivel base that can be tilted both left and right to achieve angled cuts. Other features include a "lock on" button to hold the on/off buuton in the "on" position for longer cuts, a dust extraction receptacle for connection dust extraction units and a heavy duty carry case with solid fastening buckles.
