Makita JS1660 1.6mm Straight Shear

The Makita JS1660 single speed in-line shear weighs a mere 1.4kg allowing the user a more comfortable cutting experience when being used for prolonged periods, featuring a double blade cutting mechanism the Makita JS1660 will remove a thin strip of the material being cut which will result in less material distortion and a cleaner cut. With a cutting capacity of 1.6mm in mild steel, 1.2mm in stainless steel and 2.5mm in aluminium the Makita JS1660 is not the normal shape for a shear but with its lock on on/off switch the design of this machine will make the cutting of sheet material a doddle.
