New to the 10.8v range of Li-ion tools is the Makita JR102 reciprocating saw which features a unique dual handed operation, the tool can be gripped from above on the main body or traditionaly from the back handle, a seperate variable speed trigger is housed in both positions for perfect operation. The JR102 features a standard "grub screw" blade change which allows the unit to accept traditional reciprocating saw blades along with standard jigsaw blades which will prove extremely handy in tight areas. Cutting capacity is 50mm in wood and mild steel and the saw also features a LED light and electronic blade brake to stop rotation once the trigger is released.
