The Makita HR4511C single speed variable, rotary demolition hammer has a whopping drilling capacity of 45mm with a solid drill bit and 125mm with a TCT core bit making it an ideal machine for plumbers who have the need to drill holes for waste pipes and soil pipes alike. When fitted with a chisel or point the HR4511C is also suitable for breaking up concrete floors, removing floor tiles, hacking off rendering and other such jobs if a more delicate action is required the variable speed switch can be turned down to soften the blow. The Makita HR4511C is fitted with a torque limiter which is designed to protect both the user and machine when drill bits or core bits become jammed.
