The Makita HR2811 single speed variable, reversible, 3 mode SDS+ hammer drill has been designed for the user who requires a more powerful machine. With its shape taken from the larger SDS max rotary demolition hammers the HR2811, with its drilling capacity of 13mm in steel, 32mm in wood and a maximum drilling capacity of 28mm with a masonry drill bit and 80mm when using a core bit, is ideally suited for the plumber or electrician that requires a compact machine but a machine that can easily cope with prolonged use. The HR2811 is fitted with a powerful 800w motor and Makita's torque limiter system, which disengages the drive to protect both the user and machine should a drill bit or core bit get jammed making the HR2811 a safe option when drilling with the large drill bits. A quick change chuck version is available which should be chosen on the drop down option.
