The Makita HR2470T single speed variable, reversible, 3 mode SDS+ hammer drill is the lightest 3 mode machine in Makita's range. Designed as the perfect all round drill with drilling capacities of 13mm in steel and 32mm in wood in the rotary only mode, 24mm capacity in concrete from the hammer drilling mode and with the added chiselling feature, the Makita HR2470T is an ideal unit for plumbers and electricians. The chisel only mode is a handy feature designed for chasing out for cables, pipes and socket boxes or for removing a few tiles in a kitchen or bathroom.

This is the "T" version which includes a quick change, heavy duty all steel keyless chuck to accept standard drill bits and can be quickly converted between chucks with a simple twist. Please note that the machine must be selected to non-hammer mode when used with the keyless chuck and standard bits must be used such as HSS, wood augers and flat bits.
