The DCS3501 semi industrial chainsaw is a great all round tool for domestic and light trade use.The 35cc engine is powerful (2.1hp) and features Makita's "easy start" mechanism along with electronic ignition which keeps the engine running smoothly both while at idle and also under load. Extended use is possible thanks to the machine being well balanced and lightweight (4.7kg). Safety features include the chain brake which stops the chain in an instant should "kick back" occur.

This chainsaw features Makita's M2M vibration dampening technology which effectively reduces vibration keeping the hands steady and making for more accurate cutting.

The fuel to oil ratio is 50:1 and the machine is low emission meeting all CARB requirements.
