The Makita BTP140 2 speed variable with reverse, 4 function combi drill is the swiss army knife of cordless drills this machine is 4 drills in 1. Firstly it is a 2 speed rotary drill with capacities of 10mm in steel and 21mm in wood, secondly it's an impact drill with a capacity of 8mm in masonry, thirdly it's an adjustable torque screwdriver and finally if that's not enough it is an 140NM of torque impact driver all this and only weighing 1.8kg. There is some compromise to be had to have all 4 features in one tool compared to individual machines which is only to be expected, but as an all round drill this will take some beating. Supplied as standard with the Makstar intelligent charger charging the batteries in approximately 22mins.
