With auto scanning on both AM and FM bandwidths and 5 preset stations for your favourite stations on each band and a LCD indicator showing which preset is currently tuned in. The unit benefits from an alarm system that can either turn on a designated radio station or emit a beeping sound at the desired time and a snooze function is available for those that struggle in the mornings and are keen on your lie ins, a sleep function is also available so you can listen to your favourite songs while nodding off.

The radio is both rugged and good looking with an electric blue display and chrome rails to finish off the look, thick rubber bumpers protec it from knocks and bumps and a handy foldaway handle with rubber grip is ideal when you have got a handful of tools. An earphone socket is located to the front along with the AC in socket (AC adaptor also supplied for mains operation) and inside the large battery compartment is an aux in for your ipod or MP3 player where there is plenty of room to stow the player to keep it dry while you are playing your music collection.

This radio is compatible with all push fit and slide fit batteries from 9.6v - 24v in Ni-Cad, Ni-MH and Li-Ion and the unit is supplied with an AC adaptor for mains use.
