This 36volt 3 mode SDS hammer drill with rotary, rotary hammer and hammer only action had a lot to live up to, with the BHR200 24v SDS hammer already the market leader in the 24v range.

Makita have increased the impact rating to 3 joules, increased the no load speed and blows per minute allowing for a greater drilling capacity, a whopping 26mm in masonry, 32mm in wood and 13mm in steel. They have kept with the design of placing the battery at the rear of the machine resulting in excellent balance, and added an anti vibration side handle offering a higher degree of comfort for the user. With the added advantage of a charger that will charge the battery in 22 minutes this machine is now regarded as the best cordless SDS hammer drill on the market.
