Powered by a 75.6cc 4-Stroke engine featuring electronic ignition and automatic timing adjustment making it more economical to run than it's 2-Stroke counterparts and also more comfortable thanks to less vibration and lower noise levels.

Thanks to Makita's new MM4 (Makita Mini 4-Stroke) technology there is no need to mix oil and fuel, the engines are easy to start and require less maintenance, vibrations and noise levels are greatly reduced. Running costs are reduced by 60% and based on 300 working hours per year the savings will pay for the machines over a 3 year period. Emissions are greatly reduced with the MM4 engine producing 27g/kw hour compared to 224g/kw hour for the 2-Stroke counterparts making the environment a winner as well.
