Makita BO4900 ½ Sheet Finishing Sander

This ½ sheet sander is a single speed machine, fitted with a lockable on/off switch and a large front handle the balance of this unit is very good. With a base size of 115mm x 229mm and an orbit diameter of 2.6mm this sander is designed more as a finishing sander where a high quality finish is required. Fitted with a hook and loop base and with paper clamps the choice is yours of how you attach the sanding sheets, hook and loop sheets are more expensive to buy but take seconds to apply and remove, where as buying rolls or sheets of sandpaper is cheaper but it takes long to cut the paper and attach to the sander. Supplied with a disposable paper dust bag, as with all sanders this machines dust extraction rate can be greatly increased by attaching a vacuum hose or dust extraction hose to the rear dust extraction port.
