This 1st fix, 50mm - 90mm capacity framing nailer weighs a mere 3.8kg making it slightly heavier than the Makita gas nailer, with the angled magazine taking a maximum 84 nails the nails are of the 34° paper collated type and are available in a smooth or ring shank finish. The air framing nailers have in the past been over shadowed by the emergence of the gas nailer with their portability but where they have an advantage is that they can be used for longer periods at a time and the amount of servicing required to an air framing nailer is minimal compared to that of a gas nailer. Designed for stud walling, roof trusses and alike, the front nose needs to be pressed down before the trigger can be squeezed allowing the nail to fire, with a rotating dial situated just below the switch the depth of the nail to be fired can be adjusted. This tool should not be over looked when it comes to purchasing a 1st fix nailer, if trailing a hose is not an issue then this nailer will give you years of reliably service.
