This single speed variable belt sander takes a belt size of 75mm x 457mm giving you a sanding area of approximately 75mm x 215mm, this sander features Makita's auto tracking system, this means that the belt requires no adjustment or alignment when fitting replacement belts. The belts are easily replaced by pulling back on a lever positioned on the side of the sander that releases the tension; the belts are then easily slide on or off. This sander is ideally suited to the DIY user or light industrial user where a one handed operation is required so making it suitable for sanding of window sills or stairs etc.
