The Makita 9553NB single speed 100mm angle grinder has a side positioned lock on switch, that can be switched off in a split second when pressure is applied to the switch button, resulting in the switch sliding to the off position. Weighing a mere 1.8kg and fitted with a 710w motor the Makita 9553NB is designed to be used either as a one handed or two handed machine with the side handle supplied. The 9553NB can be fitted with either cutting or grinding discs for metal or stone and when fitted with a backing pad can also be used for sanding.
