Makita 8434 14.4v Combi Drill

The best selling 14.4v combi drill in the MXT range ange for very good reasons, this fully professional tool is extra heavy duty featuring hammer action, a 3 speed gearbox with metal gears and casing. Low speed is for high torque screwdriving, mid range is a good all round speed for drilling and screwdriving and high speed is particularly suitable for drillin metal wood and plastics. The MXT motor is proven to be tough, long lasting and at the heart of the tool producing the power to cope with everything that you can throw at it, the motor is of field and coil construction and has brush caps on the side of the casing for easy changeover. To the front end of this machine there is the torque selector which provides 16 torque setting for accurate screwdriving and a quality 13mm keyless chuck for fast bit change. This is a mid handle design machine which is well balanced and benefits from a rubberised grip and detachable side handle for more stable 2 handed use.

The 6280 is perfect partner for the 8434 being lighter and more compact it is ideal for repetitive screwdriving and pilot drilling. Featuring a 2 speed gearbox with low speed of 0-350rpm for screwdriving and high speed of 0-1,200rpm ideal for drilling. There are 16 torque settings for precision screwdriving and drill only mode turns the clutch off for full power. Other features include a 10mm keyless chuck, rubberised grip and mid handle design for better balance.
