The Makita 6824 single speed variable drywall screwdriver has a variable speed from 0 - 4500rpm offering a screwdriving capacity of 5mm diameter for drywall screws and 6mm diameter in self drilling screws and giving a maximum torque of 16Nm. Fitted with a light weight aluminium gear housing and a synchronized clutch the Makita 6824 weighs a mere 1.5kg and has a handy belt clip fitted to the top of the motor housing allowing for a secure on to a tool belt or into a drill holster. The Makita 6824 also boasts Makita's popular "Sure Lock" depth locator which allows for the removal of the front nose for the replacement of screwdriver bits but when re-assembling, the required depth will be retained.
