This circular saw has for many years been Makita's biggest selling saw, it offers a depth of cut off 66mm @ 90° and 46mm @ 45° from its 190mm diameter tungsten carbide tipped circular saw blade. It features an anti-kickback riving knife and an all ball bearing construction which gives the machine a prolonged life when used correctly. This multi use circular saw with its pressed steel base more suited to the rigors of site work, is equally at home in a workshop environment and by changing the blade to a finer tooth will cope with the delicate work of trimming laminate boards and other such materials.
