This compact circular saw is Makita's first machine in a wide long list of circular saws; it is fitted with a 165mm diameter tungsten tipped saw blade and gives you a cutting depth of 54mm @ 90° and 35mm @ 45°. An ideal machine for those cutting applications where it is preferable to use the saw one handed such as the cutting of roof battens and the trimming of doors, either interior or exterior, it is also supplied with a side fence to make the trimming of boards easier. With a dust extraction nozzle incorporated in to the machines aluminium guard assy allowing for connection to a vacuum, this tool is suitable for both DIY and light industrial users alike.
