This machine is the big daddy of the Makita circular saw range giving you a massive depth of cut of 130mm just over 5" @ 90° and 90mm, just under 4", @ 45°, not for the untrained, this machine is a beast of a tool, weighing in at 14kg this saw should only be used by a professional user. Ideally suited to the timber frame industry and hard landscaping companies where the cutting of large structural timbers is required, this machine has been designed with safety in mind, fitted with a soft start feature to cushion the initial surge of power when turning on this powerful machine and a motor brake which will stop the blade in an instant, it also features the basics found on most professional circular saws such as a dust extraction point built in to the upper blade guard and a rip fence as standard.
