This industry standard biscuit jointer has been the main stay tool of many a carpenter/joiner and kitchen fitter over the years, designed to create a groove to accept dowel biscuits to the sizes of 0's, 10's & 20's. The smooth action is aided by a rack and pinion design and a large handle mounted on the top of the aluminium gear housing aiding the plunge action. The front aluminium facing fence can be adjusted from 0 - 90° with positive stops at 0, 45 and 90°, unlike some other biscuit jointers on the market that have a fixed front face. Supplied as standard with a dust bag to catch the material removed by the saw blade the Makita 3901 has been around for many years and will be for many more, a good solid reliable tool.
