This single speed 170mm wide power planer is fitted with a powerful 1200w motor enabling it to plane a massive 170mm wide and to a maximum depth of 2mm. Not designed for the domestic market this tool is designed for the professional user and busy workshop, ideally companies who are making large timber structures. Weighing 9kg the weight of this machine keeps the planers sole plate flat to the work surface offering a high quality finish. The knob situated at the front of the machine is used to set the planning depth and is also a very handy front handle offering greater control when planning.
